Wheeler Athletics

The girls volleyball team improved their record for the season to 7 and 2 with a win against Lake Station Edison on Thursday night. After a two match start to the week the girls showed up and kept their composure to accomplish the task. They won in three straight sets. The Junior Varsity squad played tough but ultimately fell. Missing players due to sickness and injury left the girls with only seven in the line up and they still took the other team to three sets on Thursday.
