Bearcats Lose Home Opener to Lowell Varsity vs Lowell Senior High School (2-5) Loss Wheeler Boys Soccer fought hard tonight. The Bearcats struck first with a goal by Tyne Vettickal with a beautiful assist from Harper Schaberg. Lowell scored the next five goals, including one after Caleb McLaughlin made a brilliant save on a penalty kick. Randy Johnson scored a last-second goal assisted by Harper off a free kick. The Bearcats host Hebron on Saturday, August 23, with a 10 a.m. kickoff.
