Wheeler Athletics

The WHS girls volleyball team played strong and defeated the North Judson Blue Jay's. The offense was lead by Junior OH Izabela Schumacher with 10 kills. Libero Junior Laylah McNamara led the defense with 27 digs. Setters Julia Newsome and Sophia Hall did stellar moving the ball around. All in all the Bearcats are showing promise at the start of this season and meshing on all cylinders. Scores: 25-15, 23-25, 25-9, 25-21 JV lost 2-1 but are showing growth with the majority of the players being new. Scores: 25-20, 15-25, 6-15
