On a chilly Friday morning at Wicker Park Golf Course, the WHS boys' golf team narrowly missed out on the GSSC Conference Championship, falling to repeat champs Illiana Christian by only 3 strokes, posting a season-best team score of 352. Junior Mark Gillen was individual conference champion with a 6-over-par 68. Fellow Junior Jake Robinson took 3rd place with an 88, and Sophomore Sean Schafer was right behind with an 89. All three earned First-Team All-Conference honors, and sophomore Logan Fox made Second-Team All-Conference.
