Bats were blistered on Tuesday, but Wheeler Varsity Bearcats couldn't quite get the job done against Lake Station Edison and lost 13-12. Lake Station Edison collected eight hits, while Wheeler Varsity Bearcats had 14. Wheeler Varsity Bearcats lost despite out-hitting Lake Station Edison 14 to eight. David Lindlow and Caleb McLaughlin each collected three hits for Wheeler Varsity Bearcats.
