Wheeler Athletics

Wheeler welcomes Rick Gregory as the next Head Varsity Girls Basketball coach. Coach Gregory brings several years of experience. Coach Gregory coached basketball at Hobart High School from 2006-2015, before becoming the Head Varsity Girls Basketball coach at Whiting High School from 2015-2022. Coach Gregory won the GSSC "Coach of the Year" in 2019. In addition to leading the varsity squad, Coach Gregory is excited to develop a youth program for the girls in Union Township. He has a long term vision to take girls basketball in the community to new heights.
