Bearcat Track gets off to a roaring start indoors

The 2023 Wheeler track season began this past weekend at IPFW in Fort Wayne. Several Bearcat athletes and relays competed against some much larger schools on the campus of the Division 1 school. Elise Byers placed in the top 10 in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:30. The girls sprinters placed 3 girls in the top 10 with London Holm, Nicole Luken, and Jamilah Roseborough representing the Bearcats. The boys 4x200 meter relay team set a new school record of 1:35.23 in their first race. The team consisted of Owen Missey, Bryce Compton, Pierce Brann, and Caden Brann. The Bearcats compete at Purdue University this weekend.
