Washington Township made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the second after Owen Gilbert singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. Washington Township added one run in the third. Liam Scott singled to left field, making the score 4-1. Aiden Armstrong earned the win for Washington Township. The pitcher gave up five hits and two runs (zero earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking three. Caleb McLaughlin took the loss for Wheeler Varsity Bearcats. The starting pitcher went four innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking three. Drew Horvath earned the save.
