Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Boys Swim Team finished their 2024-2025 regular season swimming 9 personal best times in a fun, but losing effort vs LaPorte evening their overall record to 10 and 10 for the season. Highlights of the meet were Greg Gillan completing the 200 Free for the first time, Ben Gutwein qualifying for Sectionals on the 500 yard Freestyle, Sam Mooney dropping another 23 seconds in the same event, and Tommy Emery swimming the “Gauntlet”. The Boys will now begin to prepare for the 15 school Sectional Championship meet at Valparaiso High School on February 20th and 22nd. Good luck Bearcats!
