The Wheeler Boys Basketball team lost Friday night to Hammond Noll 67-49 and then lost again Saturday @ Hobart 71-49. Leading the team in scoring vs. Hammond Noll were Caleb McLaughlin with 14 points and Marek Barton with 12 points. The Leading scorers vs Hobart were Conner Welch with 8 points, and Nick Scott/Logan Fox both with 7 points. The teams record now stands at 9-7 for the year. The JV Bearcats also lost both games over the weekend. Falling to Hammond Noll 53-40 and to Hobart 27-15. Ryan Smith led the team against Hammond Noll with 10 points, while Sean Schafer and JJ Blevins added 9, and Cash Kostbade added 8 points. JJ Blevins led the team in scoring against Hobart with 6 points. The JV Bearcats now have a 10-6 record. Both Teams travel to Boone Grove this Thursday 2/6 for their next contest.
