Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Boys Basketball team dropped a tough contest to the Hebron Hawks Wednesday night 53-51. Wheeler was led by Carter Blane with 17 points and Nick Scott with 13 points. The team now holds a record of 9-5 for the season. The JV Bearcats were victorious over the JV Hawks 39-22. Leading the way for the Bearcats was Ryan Smith with 11. Erik Diaz and Cash Kostbade both added 8 points. The JV Bearcats improved their record to 10-4 on the season. Both teams are back in action Friday 1/31 at home to host the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors. JV Tipoff is set for 5:30PM.
