Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Boys impressed all again swimming 15 personal best times in a losing effort to a very deep Culver Academies Eagles squad 49 to 120 bringing their overall record this season to 10 wins and 8 losses. The Bearcats only first place finish was Tommy Emery on the 100 Butterfly where he also broke the Wheeler School Record that he had broken before two years ago. Besides the record breaking performance, other highlights included all the personal best times set by everyone and Titus Parrish and Chris Benefit both completing the 500 Freestyle for the first time. The Boys have 2 meets left before preparing for Sectionals, with the next one being this coming Tuesday at Merrillville. Go Bearcats!
