The Wheeler Bearcats picked up their third win of the season at Oregon-Davis Wednesday night with a final score of 46-41. Marek Barton led the Bearcats with 13 points. Logan Fox had 9, David Diaz had 8, and Tyne Vettickal added 7 points to the scoring effort. Marek Barton also lead the team with 7 rebounds and David Diaz had 6. With the win Wheeler stands at 3-2 for the year. The JV Bearcats also got a win at Oregon-Davis improving their record to 4-1. The balanced JV scoring effort was led by Sean Schafer with 13. JJ Blevins had 10 points, Ryan Smith had 9, and Preston Schroeder added 8 points on the night. Both Teams will travel to Lake Station Jr/Sr High School on Friday 12/13 to take on the Edison Fighting Eagles in a Greater South Shore Conference matchup.
