Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Boy's Basketball team opened their season Tuesday night 11/22 and lost to the South Central Satellites 49 to 48. The Bearcats battled back from an early deficit to take the lead late in the game, but ultimately couldn't hold on for a victory. Wheeler had a balanced scoring attack led by Austin Goodrich's 15 points. Jalen Lewis added 12 points, and the team was led in rebounds by Marcos Silva and Marek Barton who both had 6. The Bearcats will travel to Lowell for their next game on Tuesday 11/29. The JV Bearcats also lost a heartbreaker to South Central in Overtime.
