Wheeler Athletics

The Ladybearcats battled hard in their game against Highland HS. The final was Highland 55 Wheeler 19. Showing much improvement on the defensive end the Lady Bearcats held Highland to 19 points in the first half as compared to one of the top ranked teams in the region (who is currently undefeated) who allowed Highland to score 28. This was a great effort especially considering that the Lady Bearcats had played a hard fought game the night before. Leading the Lady Bearcats in scoring was Mia DeJesus with 8 points.
