Our Lady Bearcat Basketball team dropped their season opener to Lowell by a score of 63 - 25. The first quarter started out really close but towards the end of the quarter the girls ended up down 16 - 7. The Lowell Red Devils had a deep bench and they pressed from the start of the game through a big part of the 3rd quarter. Seven players contributed in scoring while others helped out on the defensive end. Though this is not the start that we would like, Coach Rick said that he saw many positive reasons to be impressed and excited for his team. He stated "Once this team comes together, it will be a special team to watch!"
