The Lady Bearcats Basketball Team scrimmaged against Rensselaer Central who was ranked 11th in the state for 2A. Each quarter the score is set to zero. After a slow start in the first quarter, your Lady Bearcats came back and led most of the second quarter. They did a fair job in breaking a very well executed press in the third quarter and was very competitive in the fourth quarter. Throw in the fact that this team has added many new players, a new coaching staff, and they are learning an entirely new offense and you have to ask yourself how good will they be? Time will tell, and if you would like to see a team that plays hard, and that will continue to grow come out to watch them play! Next game is at Lowell on Tuesday November 1st.
