The Bearcats Boys celebrated at the beginning of the evening and at the end of it during its home win against Washington Township. The Bearcats, families, and fans started the evening by honoring and celebrating nine 2025 graduates: Marek Barton, Christopher Benefit, Carter Blane, Cooper Burton, Tommy Emery, Jacob Franczek, Logan Minton, Calvin Paolone, and Logan Rouhselang. Senior Cooper Burton scored with a boomer, and Senior Jacob Franczek sent a beautiful pass to Tyne Vettickal who put the ball in the net to seal the match and celebrate the win. Wheeler travels to Griffith for a conference match September 12 with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
