On Tuesday October 4th , the UTMS football team traveled to Hanover Central and lost to the Wildcats 26 – 6. The Bearcats played their hearts out and fought to the disappointing end. Coach Hogan, Peters and Kovats could not be prouder of this team for how hard they played against this very well coached team. Congratulations to Coach Zableckis and the Wildcats on winning the GSSC championship. The Bearcat offense was led by Keegan Catone with a touchdown reception, Dylan Gore with a touchdown pass, Koltin Kingery, Cash Kostbade, Jack Gaetz, Erik Diaz, Cash Micciche and Blake Laba. The Bearcat defense was led by Conner Welch, Anthony Huron, Logan Fox, Levi Murray, Austin Nugent, Matt Bizzieri, Adam Koszyk and Noah Helmer. On Friday October 7 th , the UTMS football team will be honored at halftime of the varsity game. Come out and support our team and the entire Wheeler football program. The Bearcats next game is Tuesday October 11 th , at home against the Boone Grove Wolves. Game time is 5:30 pm.
