On Tuesday at River Pointe Country Club, the boys' golf team bogeyed the first hole, ran off a string of pars, then birdied the last two holes to shoot a -1 and improve on last year's score and place. However, it was not enough to regain the trophy, as Hanover Central shot a blistering -5 (on 9 holes) to set a tourney scoring record. The Bearcats also finished one stroke behind Morgan Township and Lowell.
