Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler boys' golf team kicked off their season on Eclipse Day 2024 in a conference triangular at Indian Ridge against River Forest and Griffith. In convincing fashion, the Bearcats scored 199 points (paced by Mark Gillen's 47) to beat Griffith by 43 strokes. River Forest, with only three golfers competing, posted an incomplete score. Next up is the Brickie Scramble tomorrow at River Pointe, where Wheeler aims to regain the title.
