The Boys Swim Team came from behind to win their third meet in a row yesterday vs Merrillville by a score of 75 to 58. Individual first place winners were Drew Stoner in the 100 yard Freestyle, Stephen Claussen in the 100 yard Backstroke, and Tommy Emery in the 200 yard Freestyle and 100 yard Butterfly. Relay first places winners were Ayden and Randy Johnson, Titus Parrish, and Max Claussen in the Medley Relay; and Stephen Claussen, Calvin Paolone, Drew Stoner, and Tommy Emery in both the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays. Highlights of the meet included Randy Johnson taking 5 seconds off his best Breast stroke time and Stephen Claussen taking over 9 seconds off his Backstroke to out touch his opponent to finish first. 17 personal best times were swam. The Bearcats next meet will be a Quad-meet at Munster tonight vs. Calumet, Gary West Side, and Hammond Morton. Good luck Bearcats!
