The Lady Bearcats went into Hobart on the Lady Brickies’ Senior Night knowing that the competition would be very tough. It was a battle to say the least. Lilly Boner, and Emma Steiner stepped up in the post playing great defense holding their number two scorer to 2 points! Megan Vincent, Leilani Gaetz, and Ashlynne Trinidad helped contain their guards to a combined score of 15 points all game! Down by 4 with less than a minute to play Lexi Cutka dropped a three to pull within 1! With 20 seconds left Abby Ordonez found Lexi open on the wing for a great assist and Lexi hit another 3 making it her fourth in the game! Bearcats up by 2 to win the game! The whole team deserves recognition for the tough defense they played. holding the Lady Brickies to 26 points. (14 below their average!) Leading Scorers were Lexi Cutka 14, Abby Ordonez 8, Megan Vincent 4, Lilly Boner 2 The Lady bearcats finish with an 11 & 11 regular season record and their next game is at North Judson against Laville in sectionals!
