The Varsity Bearcats fell to the tough Demotte Christian Knights on a very cold Saturday night. The Bearcats were led in scoring by senior Brady Rife (8 pts.). Tyne Vettical also chipped in with 7. Four other Bearcats got points on the board including Marek Barton (6), Nick Scott and Carter Blane (5), and Caleb McLaughlin also with 5. The Bearcats play again on Thursday January 18th at Calumet. In JV action the Bearcats improved to 7 wins on the season. Scoring was spread out among many players including Caleb McLaughlin (9), Logan Fox (9), Conner Welch (8), and both Chase Stoner and Christian Cutka (6).
