Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Bearcats lost to the Highland Trojans last night by a score of 49-26. Leading scorer for the Bearcats in the contest was Nick Scott with 9 points. The JV Bearcats earned a win over the JV Trojans by a final score of 41-32. It was a balanced scoring effort for the JV Bearcats led by David Diaz with 13, Logan Fox with 9, and Chase Stoner with 8 points. Both teams will be back at it tonight @ home vs. the Oregon-Davis Bobcats. The Varsity will enter tonights contest with a record of 3-4 and the JV will come in sitting at 4-3. JV tipoff is set for 5:30 and due to illnesses on Oregon-Davis will only be playing 2 quarters. The Varsity Tip-off is estimated to be around 6:30pm.
