Double Victory for Bowling

Double Victory for our Bowlers Last night at City Lanes in Michigan City, our bowlers had much to celebrate. Both teams won their matches and we honored our seniors. Kristina Lubbock, Cheyenne Bouma, Braydon Prskalo, Sawyer Carr, and Lucas McNamara have been an important part of our bowling family. We wish them well in the future. We also honored our favorite Bearcat, Colton Darr with a moment of silence. Colton would have been a senior this year. He was part of our JV team but sadly passed away in May of 2020. Colton was looking forward to being part of the varsity team as a freshman. Colt was always a team player, rooting for his teammates and sharing in their successes even if he was having a bad game. Colton’s humor was his greatest asset. He is dearly missed. The bowling teams would also like to give a shout out to our Asst. Superintendent, Mrs. Barnes for joining us on ‘Senior Night’! We appreciate the support. Our Lady Bearcats rolled past Hobart 1298 pins to 545 pins taking 18 out of 20 points. High rollers were Kristina Lubbock 131, Cheyenne Bouma 159 149, Alzora Barnes 132, and Charlotte Klimczyk 149. Our boys beat Valpo 2201 pins to 1960 winning 17 out of 20 points. High rollers were Braydon Prskalo 225 223, Will Fairbairn 230 194, Aidan Mason 209 242, Sawyer Carr 213 186, and Lucas McNamara 202 277. The girls bowl a position round today at Casey’s Lanes in Laporte. The boys bowl their position round on Thursday at Ray’s Lanes in Lake Station.
