Wheeler Athletics

The Wheeler Boys Basketball team traveled to LaCrosse, IN on Tuesday night 12/5 to play against the Tri-Township Tigers and fell by a final score of 41-37. The Bearcats were led in scoring by Brady Rife and Marek Barton with 11 points each. Tyne Vettickal also added 9 points on the night. The JV Bearcats were victorious in the earlier contest with a final score of 43-16. The Bearcats were led in scoring by David Diaz with 16 and Logan Fox with 10. Both teams will be back in actions vs. Conference Foe Lake Station this Friday 12/8. Varsity will come in with a 2-2 record and JV will carry a 3-1 record into the contest.
