The Wheeler Bearcats started off their season with a win @ South Central Tuesday night 49-39. Wheeler had a balanced scoring effort that saw 4 different Bearcats reach double figures in scoring. Brady Rife led the team with 15 points. Marek Barton added 12, while Carter Blane and Nick Scott both reached 10 points. Marek Barton was also the "TOUGHNESS" player of the night with 4 keep alives on the offensive glass that were crucial in Wheeler having a couple needed extra possessions in the game. The JV Bearcats also started the year off with a win. The Final Score was Wheeler 47 South Central 13. The JV Bearcats were led in scoring by David Diaz with 14 and Connor Welch with 10. Both teams will have their Home Opener on Tuesday 11/28 vs. the Lowell Red Devils.
