Wheeler Athletics

The Lady Bearcat girls varsity basketball team lost a close game to Hammond Morton. Our Bearcats led most of the game, but let the Governors comeback in the last couple minutes of the game. The final score was Wheeler 48 Morton 58. Lexi Cutka played an amazing game leading scorers with 16 points. Abby Ordonez was also in double figures with 10 points. Emma Steiner, Megan Vincent, Izabela Schumaker. and Lilian Boner did a great job containing the two 6’ post players. Other scorers were Megan Vincent 6 Ashlynne Trinidad 5 Izabela Schumaker 5 Lilian Boner 3 Ava Lukawski 2
