On Tuesday August 23rd , the UTMS football team opened their 2022 season by traveling to River Forest MS and defeating the Ingots 40 – 25. The offense was led by Logan Fox with 3 touchdown passes and 1 running, Koltin Kingery with 2 touchdowns and 1 extra point, Noah Udzielak with 1 touchdown, Cash Kostbade with 1 touchdown and 3 extra points and Dylan Gore with a kickoff return for a touchdown. The defense was led by Blake Laba with 1 interception, Keegan Catone, Conner Welch, Anthony Huron, Matt Bizzieri, Austin Nugent, Levi Murray, Cash Micciche and Luke Pohlmeyer. The Bearcats next game is Tuesday August 30 at home against the Lake Station Edison Eagles. Game time is 5:30 pm.
