The Wheeler Boys Soccer Team defeated DeMotte Christian 1-0. Christopher Benefit scored the lone goal with the assist coming from Blake Handley. Spencer Schaberg stopped all shots by DeMotte Christian to earn the shutout. The Bearcats play Kouts at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, in a semifinal Sectional match at Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana.
