On Friday at Forest Park Golf Course, the Wheeler boys' golf team took 4th place at the Valparaiso Sectional, just missing out on a qualifying spot for Regionals. However, senior Mark Gillen (pictured) qualified for Regionals as an individual for the second straight year, posting a 10-over-par 80 to take the first qualifying spot. Congratulations to the team on a successful season at 18-6, and good luck to Mark, who will tee it up at Sandy Pines on Thursday in the Regional round.
