On Tuesday afternoon at Innsbrook Country Club, the boys' golf team took on Hobart in a match play format. Senior Mark Gillen closed out his match very early, winning 5 and 3 (up 5 holes with only 3 holes left to play). Senior Jake Robinson also closed his match out early, winning 4 and 2. Senior Ryan Smith closed out his match 3 and 2, and junior Sean Schafer battled back on the last hole to halve his match. Our lone loss at the varsity level was freshman Brady Yanek, who lost by one hole to a Brickie upperclassman. Our three JV golfers all closed out their opponents on the 5th or 6th hole. Next up for the Bearcats is a triangular against Morgan Township and Hebron at Creekside on Thursday, May 7th.
