On Tuesday afternoon at Innsbrook Country Club, the WHS boys' golf team improved to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in the GSSC, taking down Whiting by a score of 182-232. The Bearcats were led by senior Mark Gillen with a solid 43 despite soft, wet conditions from yesterday's rain. Sophomore Logan Hunt was right on his heels with a 45. The Bearcats turn right around with a triangular match tomorrow (Wednesday) at Indian Ridge vs. South Central and Bishop Noll.
