The Wheeler Boys Soccer Team lost 2-1 at Illana Christian on September 14. Christopher Benefit's goal for Wheeler was assisted by Blake Handley. Spencer Schaberg made a spectacular save on a penalty kick by Illiana Christian. The Bearcats fought hard throughout the match and took their second straight 2A and ranked opponent to overtime. Wheeler hosts Boone Grove on Saturday, September 16, at 12 p.m. Wheeler will celebrate Senior Day to honor their seven seniors: Spencer Schaberg (captain), Jovanco Mizimak (captain), Ian Dougherty, Blake Handley, Connor Lawson, Owen Missey, and Logan York.
