On a chilly Saturday at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course, the boys' golf team came in 4th place (out of 16 teams) at the Michigan City Marquette Golf Invitational. The boys battled through cold and sloppy conditions, as the course was VERY wet from overnight rains. The team was led by seniors Mark Gillen and Jake Robinson, who both posted top-ten overall individual results. Mark (pictured, receiving his 2nd-place medal) shot a 77, while Jake followed closely behind with an 81. Freshman Brady Yanek and junior Sean Schafer rounded out the team scoring for a solid team score of 343. Next up for the Bearcats is a triangular match at Innsbrook on Tuesday vs. Hanover Central and Westville.
