Wheeler Athletics

The girls varsity soccer team travelled to Washington Township with a borrowed volleyball player in order to have a full eleven players available for the game. The coach sat on the sideline with nothing to do as there were no substitutions the entire game. The Bearcats won 9-0, as goal keeper Abby Ordonez recorded her second consecutive shutout of the season with 7 saves along with great defense from Trinity McEwan, Genevieve Mills and Justyna Podczerwinski. Goals were scored by Grace Christos(3), Emerson Marrs(3), Jessica Surufka(2) and Emily Mistina(1) on assists from Molly Morley(1), Katie Lovingood(1), Emerson Marrs(1), Emma Stiener(2) and Emily Mistina(4).
