The girls varsity soccer team started off the season with a 5-0 victory over Laporte in their home opener. Abby Ordonez posted her first shut out of the season with three saves. Scorers included Jessica Surufka (3), Grace Christos (1) and Emerson Marrs (1) with assists from Emily Mistina (1), Genevieve Mills (1), Justyna Podzcerwinski (1) and Sadie Bolan (1). Additional offensive pressure was applied by new comer Katy Lovingood. while the goalie shut out was assisted by great defense from Trinity McEwan, Emma Stiener and Molly Morley.
