The Lady Bearcat girls basketball team defeated New Prairie 55 to 45. New Prairie used their numbers to press the Bearcats the entire game but could not wear them down. Sadie Sandora stepped up her game early on with a personal best getting multiple steals and set the tone with a break away layup. Izabela Schumacher had another double double pulling down over ten rebounds, scoring 12 points and getting multiple steals. New Prairie had a number of their top defenders taking turns trying to stop Kylie Simpson and Grace Renn to no avail. Kylie led all scorers with 14 points. Brooklynne Jolliff was in double figures knocking down 3 - 3's and scoring 13. She also had multiples blocks! Ava Lukawski had multiple steals as well and chipped in 7. Grace Renn also chipped in 7 points. The Lady Bearcats improved their record to 5 - 2.
