Wheeler Athletics

The Junior Varsity and Varsity Wheeler Bearcats got the victories at the home opener last night. In the Varsity match the Bearcats were led in kills by junior Riley Fox, followed closely by freshman Izabela Schumacher. The two outside hitters combined for 30 kills. In the defense department the Bearcats saw a solid performance from junior Abby Allen who led with 20 digs. The week is far from over though, the girls will face North Judson on Wednesday and Hanover Central on Thursday then finish out the week at the Hobart Tournament on Saturday.
